Mount Pleasant—(June 26, 2023) Local premium ready-to-drink bottled cocktail distillery Please! Beverage Co. has moved beyond its retail offerings with the recent opening of its bright and expansive Tasting House—taking over a space previously occupied by an auto repair shop at 5th and Alberta.

Featuring eight small-batch craft cocktails made with real ingredients, infused with botanic spirits, and served on tap, PBC's 6,000-square-foot Tasting House has a warm 67-seat taproom lounge, retail space out front with its production facilities and operations in the back, and flavour lab upstairs.



Favourite libations so far include the mango sticky rice, rhubarb fizz, green tea fizz, and grapefruit paloma in addition to new flavours like both a rasberry (mint and gin) and strawberry (spice and vodka) smash, garden social (gin-based iced tea), and full moon party (an energy drink riff).

As for food, Please! has teamed up with Lebanese eatery Jamjar Canteen to serve up some Middle Eastern bites and snacks including a selection of manoush'eh (flatbread made with fresh dough), dips, and cold tapas.

Visitors can also look forward to sipping a variety of house made botanic spirits crafted by soaking actual whole fruits in vodka and extracting the flavour, colour, and essence of the ingredients.

Some of PBC's infused vodka flavours include mango, strawberry, osmanthus flower, coconut pandan, four citrus, and raspberry, all served with soda and ice, on the rocks, or neat.



Please! Tasting House promises to be an attractive destinatation to lounge around, sip on carefully concocted cocktails made from locally-sourced herbs and botanicals in an inviting space as a fun alternative to the usual craft brewery.
