Coal Harbour—(July 20, 2022) The newly revamped and renamed H2 Kitchen & Bar (formerly "H2 Rotisserie") family restaurant located inside The West Bayshore hotel recently refocused its dining offerings from a primarily rotisserie chicken-based array (still available) to an exciting all-new southern-style smokehouse barbecue menu.
Working Class Traditions (peanut-infused bourbon, cola, and salted peanuts)
The new H2 Kitchen ambitiously aims to be an ideal trifecta mixing a southern cocktail bar with an innovative kitchen and modern dining hall in order to satisfy guests' smokehouse desires for a savoury, authentic slice of Americana.
Meat Experience platter (smoked brisket, slow-smoked pulled pork, and St. Louis ribs)
Their "low and slow" approach led by chef and pitmaster Homer Baisa is the central engine behind the restaurant’s new fully-loaded menu of smoked barbecue staples, including both a half-pound of brisket and pulled pork (each slow-smoked for five hours), best devoured and shared with good (and hungry) company.
Bone Board (whole bone-in slow-smoked beef chuck plate)
All the new authentically southern-inspired comfort food dishes straight from the smoker are full of decadent barbecued heartiness. Taste the culinary chops behind the various meat platters slow-smoked on a maple, cherry, and hickory wood blend (above). Also, prepare to loosen your belts.
new milkshakes + lemon meringue pie (with sweet lemon curd and toasted meringue)
H2 is currently offering a new weekly special Sunday Supper Series menu to cap off every weekend. You can also enjoy their southern hospitality savoured with live music on their outdoor patio in the hotel’s courtyard from Thursday to Sunday.
