"Aburi Market is going to be a new kind of grocery experience."
North Shore—(May 30, 2022) Aburi Restaurants (operators of Miku and Miniami) opened up its new premium Japanese specialty supermarket concept Aburi Market in the heart of West Vancouver's oceanfront Ambleside neighourhood.
After successfully launching two separate Aburi To-Go grab-n-go restaurant-adjacent grocery shops over the past year, Aburi Market expands on the same concept in an elevated manner as its flagship store.
Stocked full of exclusive imported goods, pre-packaged meals, fresh seafood, frozen foods, assorted tableware, and their trademark oshi ushi, everything aims to be of the same high restaurant quality Aburi offers elsewhere.
Aburi's striking 4,000-square-foot space highlights the very best of their culinary arts including the spirit of washoku—the long-held tradition of Japanese cuisine described as "a social practice based on a set of skills, knowledge, practice and traditions related to the production, processing, preparation and consumption of food".
Aburi Market officially opened for business to the public last week.
