Grandview–Woodland—(June 24, 2019) After a delightful original visit and much praise during its busy, much-hyped opening last year, we returned to Pepino's Spaghetti House, the classical feeling yet elevated Italian-American "red sauce" ristorante on Commercial Drive, just ahead of its first anniversary after taking over the space originally occupied by Nick's.
Our sophomore visit was firmly focused around trying things not consumed during the initial one. This included both the classic titular staple dish and the fairly recent but much-ballyhooed lobster fettuccine special.

To celebrate their first anniversary, Pepino's is currently in the midst of their month-long Red Sauce Retro throwback abbondanza paying homage to their obvious Italian-American heritage. This includes a festive, retro look with the requisite red-checkered tablecloths and some special old school menu items straight out of Goodfellas.
