Granville Island—(June 25, 2017) Grey Goose Canada's annual summertime dinner and cocktail soirée took place at Edible Canada bistro this time around with a Marché themed affair inspired by the fresh ingredients found at local marketplaces.
Les Bacchanales cocktail (with vodka, lemon juice, tumeric, ginger, tonka bean, and sparkling wine)
Dufau's exquisite menu brought out some delicious natural flavours heightened by French influences and seasonings from the hand-picked ingredients used and perfectly paired with the night's many drink pairings.
L'espresso martini (with vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, fleur de sel, and coffee beans)
With the marketplace theme, Dufau used locally-sourced goods paired with different Grey Goose vodka cocktails. From oyster pairings to carefully prepared fresh seafood and buttery fish, the dinner was tantalizing from amuse bouche to dessert.
halibut (with peas, sorrel, and caviar)
After touring their dinners from Montreal to Toronto and Calgary, Grey Goose and Dufau capped off their cross-country culinary efforts with some of our west coast seafood and libations celebrating living well and fine spirits with a little taste of the French Riviera here in Canada.
It was a fine experience combining French cuisine and classic cocktails sublimely.
