"To the victor belongs the spoils."
False Creek—(January 17, 2018) The Victor restaurant—inspired by Queen Victoria and the British era of history bearing her name—officially opened late last year just across the terrace from The Douglas, Autograph Collection Hotel inside the brand new Parq Vancouver Casino Resort complex.

The beefier fare includes their trademark striploin and Tomahawk ribeye steaks—both meatily delicious. I found most of the supplemental side dishes the out-and-out highlights including the some of the crispiest steak fries around, onion rings, and mac n' cheese waffles, all rather delightful.
Only accessible through the sixth floor of the hotel and through the BC Place Stadium level outdoor park overlooking the Vancouver skyline, The Victor restaurant is fully stocked with an ornate lounge, wraparound bar, romantic booth seating, spacious concourse, and sushi raw bar.

The Victor's appeal stems from its mostly classical approach to executing a full steakhouse and seafood dining experience with all the trimmings. It seems like a nice fit early on thus far with its upscale hotel meets Stadium District/Yaletown crowd.
