Yaletown—(June 7, 2017) Downtown rotisserie chicken eatery, Homer St. Cafe and Bar, recently launched a new weekday happy hour (2:30pm–5:30pm) and a daily late night menu (9:30pm until closing) for patrons just in time for summer patio season.
For happy hour, Homer's famed rotisserie chicken gets made over and served as fried rotisserie chicken wings and drumsticks or in the form of a chicken dip sandwich (with coleslaw and chicken jus) all from head chef Chris West.
There's also the crisp maple butter pork belly (very bottom) as a delightfully sweet and savoury snack or the homemade burger and potato wedges (with mozzarella and jalapeño cheese sauce) for munching on.
Special dink features include the usual highballs, Wishbone lager, bubbles, house wines, and a feature beer. A "cocktail of the moment" (gin and tonic on this day, above) selected by beverage director J.S. Dupuis showcases a different tempting new choice every day.
Located just in between Yaletown and the downtown core, Homer's casual yet perfectly placed patio is well situated for a relaxing after work hangout and perfect for people watching those passing by.
