"I'm not going to sell out and open Nightingale."

Gastown—(June 12, 2017) From notorious (and now retired) German schlock filmmaker turned successful restaurateur Uwe Boll (pronounced "OO-vah"), the acclaimed Bauhaus Restaurant celebrated its second anniversary this week while also unveiling brand new co-executive chefs Tim Schulte and David Mueller.

On the night, Bauhaus teased their already launched new spring tasting menu of flavours, award-winning contemporary German and European cuisine, and continued upscale fine dining experience.
Recognized as one of Canada's best restaurants according to the Diners Club 50 Best Discovery Series, the trendy contemporary eatery is looking to build on its momentum and reputation after the departure of original Michelin star chef Stefan Hartmann—he recently decamped for Tacofino (literally next door) turning to restaurant consultation.

The altogether jovial Boll (below) remarked on his goal and tireless efforts in establishing Bauhaus as the best, most celebrated restaurant in all of Canada.

He reiterated this all the while promising not to waver in his focus by selling out and comparing himself to another prominent local restaurateur—mocking their second restaurant.

But that's just Boll for you. He cannot resist simply being himself—he never has—as his commitment to Bauhaus' lofty aspirations remains clear.
Danke schön.
