Delta—Four Winds Brewing Co.'s tasting room is now offering fresh tacos made in-house in addition to their refreshing lineup of craft ales.
Over a couple visits, I ordered a mix of the al pastor (roasted pork with pineapple), polla asado (grilled chicken with avocado and slaw), duck confit special (with kale slaw and crispy onions), refried beans (with queso fresco, picolo, and avocado) and calamares crujientes special (crispy squid with chipotle, romesco, and gremalata) paired with a crisp Buckthorn hoppy brown ale (and later a smooth Elementary lager). The calamares was particularly on point and tastily refreshing.
Four Winds offers a few appetizing options and daily specials. These were for the most part were quite crisp and flavourful with a fresh tasting appeal similar to those from La Taqueria. I recommend trying out the specials for the more adventurous eater.
The brewery is still testing out and refining their taco program currently only available for lunch from noon to 3pm every weekday with plans to expand their food service all day in the near future.
