2014 Vancouver Craft Beer Week two-day closing festival at the Olympic Village Event Grounds on June 6 and 7, 2014.
VCBW returned last week, bigger than ever, thanks to British Columbia's burgeoning and bursting craft brewing industry.
A dozen opened this past year while another twenty or so are scheduled to open this year.
These local breweries were joined by beer makers from across the province and Pacific Northwest.
The two-day outdoor closing festival was a gathering beer lovers (5,000 of them) on a scorching hot weekend.
Highlights include long lines at Delta's Four Winds Brewing, the debut of New Westminster's soon to be opened Steal & Oak with their Beachwood Smoked Hefeweizen, the continuing popularity of 33 Acres Brewing, the blends of Gibson's Persephone Brewing, and a plethora of many other fine beers and breweries from around Cascadia.
Glug and burp.
