Charton Hobbs, one of Canada’s leading premium wine and spirit distributors, had a tasting representing all the wineries and distilleries in their portfolio including Perrin, Moët & Chandon, Buffalo Trace, and Belvedere, among many.
Brix's outdoor courtyard off of Homer Street in Yaletown is a bit of a hidden oasis.
This fruity Nivole Moscato d'Asti dessert wine from Italy's Michele Chiarlo, only all available from private liqour stores, was fabulous and the highlight of my afternoon.
There was a champagne bar on ice. I had Don Pérignon (2003 blanc). It was baller.
