Brix's outdoor courtyard off of Homer Street in Yaletown is a bit of a hidden oasis.

This fruity Nivole Moscato d'Asti dessert wine from Italy's Michele Chiarlo, only all available from private liqour stores, was fabulous and the highlight of my afternoon.

There was a champagne bar on ice. I had Don Pérignon (2003 blanc). It was baller.
