A weekend in the City of Toronto, Ontario from April 18 to 21, 2013.
Me posing with hockey's holy grail the Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Strolling the mean streets of TO.
Looking up at the CN Tower next to the shores of Lake Ontario and Rogers Centre (aka SkyDome) highlighting Toronto's skyline.
Outside the famed St. Lawrence Market (think Granville Island marketplace sans the island part).
The thing that probably most stood out was the sheer number of Maple Leafs fans and jerseys everywhere as the home team was on the cusp of making the playoffs for the first time in recent memory. It felt so bizarre with a visual feeling of being outnumbered. Aside from that, I was surprised by how much affection I had for the city. It's so big compared to Vancouver and feels like a weird bizarro of our city.
