2 Days in Portland: Breakfast sandwiches at Brunch Box food truck on August 28, 2012.
On our last day in PDX, we hit up everyone's favourite decadent food truck bright and early at 8am for their all day breakfast.
Now this is a real food truck. You order by filling out a card with your choice of sandwich, meats, fixings, bread, and extras. There are some crazy sandwiches served anyway you want.
I had the black and bleu (very top, below right) with sausage, bacon, blue cheese, grilled onions, and cajun spice on a bagel. It was ridiculously filling and deliciously meaty.
The Hawaiian (left) had spam, grilled pinapple, swiss cheese, egg, and teriyaki on Texas toast. It was apparently quite tasty and refreshingly tropical.
The double down featured two eggs, any two meats, and any two cheeses on an english muffin. It was a mammoth of a breakfast sandwich.
We were all very satisfied with our sandwiches and were not hungry at all until our late dinner after an early, meaty breakfast.
