Lunch at Slickity Jim's Chat 'N' Chew on Main Street in Riley Park–Little Mountain on April 4, 2012.
I hit up Slickity Jim's for a lunch with my CBC News mentor Theresa Lalonde.
Theresa had the veggie ommelette with gluten free bread. She sure did gobble it up and enjoyed the plate. It did look tasty with its homemade look and quality.
I had the je suis un petit carnard with two scrambled eggs, goat feta, and avocado on an English muffin, topped with tomatillo salsa, salad, and potatoes. It was tasty and messy (which I usually don't mind), but I felt it lacking a certain something.
It was a decent meal, if not, maybe a tad dissapointing. The service and staff were nice and I dig the home friendly decor and ambience.
