UBC Chinese Varsity Club's 10th annual Supaskillz talent show competition at the Norman Rothstein Theatre on March 8, 2012.
I was asked back after last year's talent show to judge CVC's annual talent competition once again.
Nine acts led the competition including another showcase from the UBC Thunderbird Dance Team (TDT).
More dance from the diverse crew Nu Era giving the show a more urban, street flavour.
I got to announce the first and second place winners on stage. I introduced the runner up with a joke, "The fourth most popular robotic poet/non-rhyming Nav'i rapper all the way from the moons of Pandora, "Mr. It's Complicated" Byron Ma."
Then I performed or rather rapped the winner, "Yo, these guys are undeniably ill, crazy talented. Number one winner of Supaskill-z. This is undeniable fact. Ladies and gentlemen, Class Act!"
It was another fine show. Congratulations to all the contestants and winners, especially Class Act who improved from last year's performance for the win.
