Spa Boutique 1-year anniversary celebration in Kitsilano on December 8, 2011.
I'm taken and invited to many random events and shops for coverage.
I try mix things up and cover a variety of topics.
Open to new experiences, I was compelled to Kitsilano for Spa Boutique's one-year anniversary celebration upon invitation.
I mingled with beauty and lifestyle bloggers like Crystal Kwon (very top), "Miss Melissa" Knight (above), and others, while they received skin and makeup treatments and consultations.
I was shown by a professional esthetician from Dermalogica on how to properly take care of my skin and the practices of facials.
Evidently, I suffer from mild oiliness and blackheads, but have fairly healthy, soft skin, otherwise.
The shop expanded a year ago from a strictly online operation. I was surprised by their large section of skincare products for men.
I joked, I find it hard justify the time and money for such efforts in skincare while not properly exercising or ignoring other health concerns. However, I was clearly (and purposely) out of my element.

Rick, what time did you write this at? There's a ridiculous amount of typos/grammatical errors. Unlike you at all. ;)
