Latitude restaurant and Latin American street food on Main Street in Riley Park–Little Mountain on November 8, 2011.
Thanks to our friend, the intrepid Vanessa Chu, our little dining crew hopped over to Main Street for some Latin American eats.
It happened to be Taco Tuesday, wherein you get two tacos for five bucks. Therefore, we ordered a crap load of tacos and a bucket of Pilsners to polish it off.
We ordered beef, pork, chicken, and fried fish tacos. The overall consensus was clear that the fish were the superior tacos by a college mile. Each of us downed two pescados a piece.
The hot wings were also quite tasty, however, not spicy at all. They had a nice honey glazed flavour. We grabbed a second plate. The popcorn for snacking was underwhelming.
We all remarked how Latitude seemed like a hidden eatery on busy Main Street as we were surprised by our enjoyment of the meal based on limited info and word of mouth. It was good eats. Yum.
