Lunch at Beijing Garden Restaurant on Cambie Street on September 22, 2010.
My old buddies from Langara College and I had a reunion of sorts meeting up for lunch to enjoy some Chinese food and specifically ginger beef (one of my favourite dishes).
The ginger beef (above) was pretty crispy and tasty.
The diced chicken and vegetables (very top) was also a treat.
As far as chow mein goes, the crispy noodles were definitely far better than the soft and the spicy eggplant was also a hit.
I liked the meal. The food was fresh and tasty.
I left happy with a belly full of Chinese food.

Excellent! Always looking for more good places in my hood!
Try some of the Sichuan specialties here -- quite well executed, particularly the water-boiled fish, even though the chef is Cantonese.
