Sun Peaks Resort: Sun x Canoeing x McGillivray Lake

This past weekend, I was flown out to Kamloops and shuttled up to Sun Peaks Resort by Tourism BC and Tourism Sun Peaks.





I was joined by Sophia Cheng, Crystal Kwon from Vancity Buzz, Dana Lynch from About.com and Inside Vancouver, and Cathy Earle from Peaks Media Inc. for a fun-filled weekend.





The resort's PR specialist Melanie Simmons took us out canoeing on the massive lake.





It was a beautiful day for a relaxing time out on the water full of splendid nature and scenery.





It was the snow resort's summer Retro Rock Weekend filled with all kinds of events and happenings (more on that later in the week).





It was a refreshing, beautifully scenic time on the lake, letting the cool, breezy air take us on.





Crystal and Sophia decided to have some fun on the dock, jumping about.
