2011 One of a Kind Show's "Celebrate Christmas in July" boat cruise party and preview aboard the M.V. Carousel II on Granville Island and around False Creek on July 25, 2011.
Yes, I got on another boat cruise party (second in three days).
This time around, I hung out with fashionable lovelies like Nicole Soon from Le Mode du Jour and "Solo" Lisa Wong out on Granville Island, sailing around False Creek once again.
The food platter aboard was splendidly amazing with catering by Dirty Apron.
It was complete with assorted meats and cheeses tantalizing my taste buds and stomach after work.
The eclectic preview of artwork and crafted goods was interesting and intriguing. It was a small, tasteful assortment of samples and displayed works.
The treats from SweeTease Cupcakes were also positively scrumptious too
As were the cookies and brownies from Dirty Apron.
The day proved good as the weather was partly sunny and not to windy out to sea.
It was a very subtle, casual showcase and media preview of the December show.
The seas of False Creek were nice and peaceful as the sun slowly set upon us.
We mingled about on the boat, having a good time, eating and drinking wine from Mission Hill.
There was tons going on in the small vessel.
A sewing circle sort of just happened on the outer deck, bingo upstairs, and the life-dog patrolling the boat for safety.
It was fun times. My +1 Janette Lau (above) had a great time playing bingo on the top deck.
She even won!
Thanks to Nicole for the invite, OOAK Vancouver and the rest of the organizers for putting on a cool preview and fun event showcasing arts, crafts, and carefully made goods.

It was great seeing you as always!
Awesome post, Rick! Great photos, with the exception of the one where I'm in mid-speech haha who knows what I'm saying there! Probably giving someone directions to the dinner cruise, which I am not responsible for, but either way, it was good times. Thanks again for coming out. I'll see you later!
