Pimm's and dinner at The Cascade Room on Main Street in Mount Pleasant on May 31, 2011.
A year after our unsuccessful search for Pimm's at YVR Happy Hour with some lovely ladies, we returned to The Cascade Room to finally have some.
The actual Pimm's was tasty and refreshing. I kind of forget what all the hubbub about drinking it was, but it got us all together to drink it.
We ordered all the usuals including mussels, polenta fries, calimari, and sausage pizza.
I especially enjoyed the polenta fries, Colene's insistent favourite, and thin, basic sausage pizza. It went down nicely considering I was still fairly stuffed from lunch.
I like The Cascade Room. It's a nice socially ambient place for food and drinks. I especially enjoyed the fine company I keep. After all, it's not where you go, what you eat or drink, but who you do it with. Cheers.
