2 wins away. Thanks to some comeback heroics by forward Alex Burrows, it only took 11 seconds into overtime for the Vancouver Canucks to secure a 2-0 series lead against the Boston Bruins in the NHL Stanley Cup Final. History only needs 11 seconds. History will be made.
The atmosphere in Vancouver was intense with excitement building for a trademark Saturday night game. It was insane. Fans were abound everywhere. I can't believe it. We're so close.
Another priceless moment was Maxim Lapierre taunting Boston's Patrice Bergon after the Burrows' "Bite-gate" incident from Game 1. It was pretty hilarious. No doubt things could have easily been much different had Burrows been suspended. What if?
