Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie holiday tasting at Timbertrain Coffee Roasters in Gastown on November 17, 2014.
The holiday season is fast upon us and that usually involves copious amounts of sweets and chocolates. Chef Christophe Bonzon (and his storefront located in Burnaby Heights) teamed up with Timbertrain (their coffee used in select chocolates) to set their Christmas selection and offerings of treats and gifts.
The holiday cheer was amplified with some delicious croissants, cake, and coffee.
"Let there be cake."
I can't get over the vintage feeling yet ultra contemporary decor of Timbertrain and the little touches reflecting coffee culture.
I enjoyed a very tasty, frothy latte to go with Christophe's selection of holiday cakes. I was most anamored with the chocolate cake, of course. Their Americano was also quite refreshingly caffeinated and served.
