1,000 Places to See Before You Die luncheon at Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar in Yaletown on March 7, 2013. As seen in Vancouver Is Awesome.
If you're not familiar with world traveller Patricia Schultz (above), she's the New York Times best-selling author of 1000 Places to See Before You Die. Naturally, she's teamed up with Trafalgar Canada guided tours to promote her work and the greater idea of international travel.
We gathered for a special lunch to discuss wanderlust over some gourmet food. I had the Aberta beef tenderloin cooked medium rare on a roasted potato cake in red wine jus. It was soft, moist, and utterly scrumptious.
Patricia's in town share and spread some of her favourite travel destinations in her popular book series. Read, travel, eat, and repeat.
