Handcrafted Italian gelato for dessert at Bella Gelateria in Coal Harbour near Waterfront on August 20, 2012.
We just had to stop by everyone's favourite gelato shop on a warm summer's day for a nice, cool treat.
I, as always, stuck with my good ol' one-two punch combination of old fashioned chocolate and espresso (made from real coffee beans). I love the mixture of rich chocolate and strong coffee flavouring.
Janice went with a trio of salted caramel, espresso as well, and banana bread (made from Erin Ireland's It's to Die For goodies). It proved a rather satisfying trio as well.
Much has already been said of gelato maestro James Coleridge's handcrafted delights as evidenced by their two wins at this year’s Firenze Gelato Festival gelato competition in Italy. It's Vancouver and now the world's choice for authentic handcrafted Italian gelato.Photo | Janice Leung
