Last night/tonight, select media and industry professionals were gathered for the launch of Dining Out for Life.
For the uninformed, it is B.C.’s largest restaurant fundraiser, benefiting A Loving Spoonful and Friends for Life. The effort is to support people living with HIV/AIDS.
Over 250 restaurants from Whistler to White Rock and across the Fraser Valley will contribute 25% of their sales that day to the cause. Participating restaurants have raised over $3 million for HIV/AIDS support services over 17 years.
The one-day event takes place on March 29 so make sure you visit a participating restaurant. You can even dine all day for the extra effort.
