Tangled Wires art exhibit opening at Ayden Gallery in International Village in Gastown on August 5, 2011.
I ducked down to International Village for the "Tangled Wires" exhibit opening display at Ayden.
I rolled with Vanessa Tam and the Hamburger Disco boys for an interesting look at the art, but interestingly enough, the art watchers there.
Colin Moore posed with his interesting wire piece in a manufactured corner, situated in the middle of the gallery.
Despite my relative out of touch nature with the art community lately, I was intrigued by the vibrant, original works.
I think a part of all of us is dying for culture, clarity, and inspiration in terms of artist appreciation.
There were a bunch of local artists featured including Scott Sueme and others.
No doubt, Vancouver has a healthy, burgeoning artistic community growing and fostering new works. I'm in.
The showcase is on until September 4th.
