I am thrilled to announce myself as a late addition speaker to the Northern Voice 2011 personal blogging and social media 2-day conference next weekend (May 13-14). I will be part of the Blogging In Real Life: Building Community through Hyperlocal Blogging panel along with Briana Tomkinson from Tenth to the Fraser and Jon Strocel from TheV3H.com.
Our moderator will be Jason Kurylo the co-founder of Pucked in the Head hockey podcast. Topics will include how to use social media to connect with other locals, enhance content, blog monetization, and the personal benefits of hyperlocal blogging. I'm really looking forward to sharing stories, tips, and discussing the benefits of community blogging.
